Sean leads the team at Fairstone’s Lancashire base in Nelson.

Sean’s career began in 1980 when he joined Commercial Union direct from school and he soon progressed to sales manager for CU Life in the Northwest of England. During this time, he was the T&C scheme sponsor for NW England and was responsible for training over 100 advisers, as well as managing the most successful (and best qualified) team of consultants in the company.

Sean has always believed that higher qualifications are a key factor in developing the financial services industry into an accepted profession. He achieved chartered financial planner status in 2010 and has been a fellow of the Personal Finance Society since 2012.
