Fairstone announce new CFO

Fairstone Group, the integration-led national wealth management house, is delighted to announce that globally-experienced executive Iain Jamieson will join the business as Chief Financial Officer.

Iain, who has over 20 years’ experience working worldwide, takes up the role at Fairstone from the beginning of January and will also join the Fairstone Group board of directors.

Over his career, Iain has been involved in a range of leading businesses and his most recent role saw him manage the sale of Stackhouse Poland, a buy-and-build focused general insurance broker, to leading US insurer AJ Gallagher.

Fairstone is one of the fastest growing financial services organisations and one of the largest CII Chartered Financial Planning organisations in the UK, with fee income in excess of £65 million.

Iain has a proven track record of managing post-deal integration to maximise value from acquisitions, as well as managing global operations, from refinancing and capital restructurings to capital improvement plans, within a dynamic market environment.

Businesses that he has held senior roles within over the years include Inflexion Private Equity, Clinical Solutions, Volution Holdings and Insight Investment. Iain brings with him a wealth of experience in both public and private businesses, as well as working extensively with Private Equity backed organisations.
