Partnership
Once the UK head office of sporting giants Nike, Fairstone’s new HQ, in Doxford International Business Park on the outskirts of Sunderland, will act as a catalyst to launch a new chapter of significant progress for the business.
The new flagship office has been completely refurbished to incorporate the latest technology and modern facilities with collaborative meeting spaces, business lounges, private pods, a media studio and an amphitheatre to host events for the firm’s wider business partners.
The relocation from Boldon, home to Fairstone for the past 15 years, reflects the firm’s stellar growth to more than 1200 operational staff and regulated advisers in the group across more than 45 locations countrywide. The company’s growth has recently been boosted by its best ever six-months of dealmaking in the first half of 2023 as six firms joined the group as part of its market leading Downstream Buy Out (DBO) model.
“We are committed to maintaining the highest level of standards for new and existing clients and colleagues alike so as our business continues to grow, the new location will help to deliver those requirements.
“Our new space will house the expanding teams that are driving forward our ambitious growth plans and strategic objectives as well as helping us to continue to attract high calibre talent.
“Sunderland has a long track record of supporting ambitious, growing businesses so we’re proud and delighted to join the likes of Nissan, EE and Barclays in making this investment.”
“We are thrilled that Fairstone, a very successful company in the competitive financial services market, have chosen to invest in the city and we welcome them to their new Sunderland-based HQ at Doxford International Business Park.
Sunderland is a city that is always open for business and we look forward to working with Fairstone as they achieve more of their goals and ambitions.”
