Fairstone develop new career pathways for graduate tech talent across the region

North-East headquartered Fairstone has joined forces with Newcastle University to support tech talent across the region.

The link up will support the launch of Fairstone’s technology graduate pathways, which will provide a range of career options for computing graduates, from infrastructure and cyber security to software engineering, digital product analysis and design.

News of the partnership comes in National Careers Week, a countrywide initiative to highlight the links between educational courses and the workplace pathways that can open up.

Technology-leveraged business Fairstone, one of the UK’s fastest growing wealth management houses with more than 40 locations countrywide, is an engine room for developing youth talent. A large employer in the North East, Fairstone has regularly recruited graduates from Newcastle University and hopes this new partnership will forge further opportunities to develop graduate roles.

Over the past few years, we have been building links with universities across the region, bringing in graduates to support their development and giving them valuable industry experience and a crucial first step on their career ladder.

Fairstone already has a number of successful intern and graduate recruitment schemes across business accounting and financial management and this expansion into computing and information systems underpins the firm’s focus on technology and investment into grassroots talent.

As part of the partnership, Fairstone will also support the recognition of top performing students at the university’s Business School and School of Computing, through sponsoring a range of student awards
